Young@WorkplacePride prominent LGBT advocate at Integrand event
March 31, 2016
Following the successful collaboration with student organization AIESEC earlier in the month, Young@WorkplacePride was invited to attend Integrand’s Annual National Board Members Congress hosted by Randstad.
Integrand is a non-profit student organization that promotes business skills among university students in order to bridge the gap between their academic career and their first job by mediating internships, organizing in-house days, and hosting career events.
Anthony Hodge, Chief Marketing Storytelling Officer at Randstad, gave a passionate keynote speech about his personal journey throughout his career and the challenges he experienced as an LGBT workplace inclusion ambassador.
Young@WorkplacePride member Hidde-Jan Beukers (Accenture) delivered the, already much sought after, ‘Unconcious Bias’ workshop to the 90 board members attending the event.
Having done three students events and several mentoring sessions within just the first months of the year, Young@WorkplacePride is clearly becoming a prominent LGBT workplace inclusion advocate among students and young professionals.
